On foot or on horseback

The Palacete is located in Rua Sao Joao da Praça, in the historic heart of Lisbon, 220m from the Cathedral (Sé in Portuguese ). If there are several Basilicas in Lisbon, there is only one Cathedral, and the Cathedral all the streets lead to the Palace of the Marquis of Angeja. On foot, opposite the Cathedral, take the street which runs along it on the right. In this place and until the end of the monument, the street is called 'Cruzes da Sé'. Past the Cathedral (which we recommend the full visit, cloister included) the street becomes' Rua Sao Joao da Praça. Going back to its first numbers, you will cross the square of the same name (where is the charming church of Saint John) and you will arrive at the house, located at number 32.

On horseback? Nothing prohibiting to our knowledge the displacement on horseback in Lisbon, horsemen and riders will note that there remain near the Red Door which leads to the garden a ring for horses (and one smaller for your Yorkshire dog).

By car

Apart from those of the badge residents, access and parking are only permitted to taxis and Masters' cars, which can access our street by the Rua Do Barrao (bypassing the Cathedral by its left) Avoid visiting Lisbon with your car or rent one during your stay. Rest the taxis (to use with caution) and cars with Chauffeur
